I was totally dissapointed with this purchase.When I saw the particular cut,I knew it was not what I had ordered.As I usually roast the whole piece,I decided to cook just half,and place the other half in the freezer for later. I cooked this as usual with time and temperture. However when cooked I could not even get my teeth through any piece. I do not know what part of the animal this piece was cut from, but it totally spoiled my Sunday lunch With this cooked piece i tried it for a beef stew with again not much success As I have purchased other items from. GILLS DIRECT i will not in future unless I have a guarantee that the beef i order is of the best quality, as have been so with previous purchases,and I had advised you so.

Beautiful joint of beef,cooked it last Sunday and had a great meal. washed down with a good claret.The remainder is now in my freezer for future enjoyment. Will definetly purchase again.
